Pictures

I am still curious abut finding a good tool for managing photos. I need to be able to organize, edit, e-mail, and post copies to pages like this blog or a wiki. I’d also like to build slideshows and save them in file formats that will allow others to view them (DVD or otherwise). Picasa is good at some aspects. PhotoSuite (Roxio) seems OK at some stuff, too. iPhoto seems OK.  More recently, I’ve worked with Adobe Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements with pretty good success.
One thing I’d like to be able to do is paste a picture in-line into one of these blog entries.

So, what have I been waiting for? Well, a good excuse, I guess. This is my initial attempt at blogging and, like those who have indeed gone before, we all have to start sometime and somewhere. Here and now work for me. The intent of this blog is to provide a place (OK, space) for me to collect those little musings that seem to occupy my mind and then, because of my age, disappear with nary a trace. I need that trace and am hoping that this might be it.
